Did You Know?
There are 6 compulsory insurances in the DRC, namely:
1.
Automobile liability insurance to cover material and non-material damages caused to third parties.
3.
Civil liability insurance for maritime, river and lake transporters.
5.
Fire insurance covers buildings for professional use (referred to by insurers as MRP).

Air Carrier Liability (ACL) insurance covers the liability of any air carrier or aircraft operator to passengers, baggage, cargo and third parties.
4.
Insurance of construction risks. These are the All Risks Construction and the Ten Year Liability. The first one covers the building site, the machines and equipments of building site as well as the simple civil liability and the crossed civil liability whereas the second one covers the civil liability of ten years of the intervening parties of the construction with regard to the owner of work.
6.
Insurance of goods or faculties upon importation.
